Patterned Bolga Basket - Large

These large round bolga baskets are perfect for any kind of adventure! Sturdy and strong, they are perfect for shopping, in the garden or storage around the home. Available with an ethical leather handle or a natural vegan handle.

Beautiful and durable, they are hand-woven from the elephant grass which grows in the rich flood plains of the White Volta near the village of Bolgatanga in Northern Ghana. Each weaver chooses the style they will make and no two patterned baskets are ever the same in colour, size or shape- you are purchasing something that is truly one of a kind!

Please note: we receive and ship our baskets flat packed, but they can easily be reshaped as many times as needed - view our care guide for more details. We have shaped them while dry quickly for photos but every basket can achieve a rounded finish when following this guide.
