Most of our artisans create their products on a made to order basis. While we can reorder some items, the timeframe on receiving the new stock is sometimes unreliable and never guaranteed.
If you see something you want for a special occasion we recommend you snap it up as the nature of handcrafted stock means we do not have a lot of each piece.
Feel free to enquire about anything that is currently sold out and we'll see what we can do. We are always open to new product or brand suggestions too!
Please note, there can be a lot of variation in the cost of shipments. While we will do our best to keep prices consistent, they are subject to change at any time without notice.
We accept most major credit cards & can also arrange internet banking for online orders - please contact us if you'd prefer to do a bank transfer.
We offer Genoapay as a buy now, pay later payment method. It's very easy to do - simply choose Genoapay at the checkout and follow the prompts to set up an account and make your first payment.
Pick up in Silverdale, Auckland is free - just select the 'Collect' option in the checkout. Once you have placed your order, email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a time.
Our toys are safe for your little ones! All of our wooden products are finished with non toxic, lead free paints, AZO-free dyes and child safe finishes. They have been tested and meet or exceed NZ safety standards and regulations (AS/NZS ISO 8124.3:2003).
Some products on our site may pose a choking hazard to children aged under 3 or children who are likely to mouth objects. We advise mandatory adult supervision at all times or removal of these pieces from play until they are appropriate.
A few of our products are classed as traditional musical instruments - as these were not manufactured as toys they have not gone through the usual rigorous safety testing requirements. Though solidly made from durable materials and fun for little ones to play with, we advise supervision for children under 3 years.
As with any toys, we recommend checking over them thoroughly at regular intervals for signs of damage.
In caring about who makes our toys we also care about how we get them to you - we try to use recyclable and compostable packing materials where possible.
We like to keep it simple - to minimise waste we don't print invoices or do additional fancy packaging. If you receive bubble wrap in your order this been recycled from something shipped to us. Although it's not the prettiest, we may also reuse clean packaging foraged from friends and family (it's whats on the inside that counts, right?!)
Some of our wooden products come plastic wrapped - this is direct from the supplier. They have been shipping their goods in this manner for many years and have determined it to be the most effective way to send their products around the world so they arrive safely. This is an area we hope to make positive changes in soon.
We are committed to providing ethically sourced products at an affordable price. Though it is almost expected in retail sometimes, you won't find us on sale very often - we have ensured our prices are the best that we can offer. That said, we do love a good giveaway so follow us on our social channels to be in to win!
