African Double Head Drum

This unique African drum features two unshaved goat-hide heads and a cord for hanging.

There is a noticeable difference between the central tones and the rim tones, making it a lively piece to play and it doubles as a stunning decorative statement on the wall.

The colours of the hide naturally differ on each drum, making these truly a one of a kind additions to your instrument collection. Each drum will have its own unique markings and characteristics - these are not considered flaws. See images for examples of colour variance.

Kenyan drums were originally used for ceremonial purposes, such as motivating warriors heading into battle. Today they are often used for entertainment and uniting communities. Play these drums with your hands to keep the drum head in good condition.

Please note this product is a traditional instrument not a toy. See our Product Safety details for more information.
