These ethically handmade felt cocoons are a beautiful versatile piece for children of all ages. They are perfect to use as a sensory box, posting box or a place to store small toys and precious treasures.
Posting is a great way to promote hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills and introduce the concept of object permanence.

Note - when these are shipped they may be a 'flatter' shape. If you would like a more rounded shape as in some of the images, you can try the following:
* use the steam from a kettle to make the felt malleable (or lightly wet it in some way)
* mould it into your desired shape
* if needed, pop a clean cloth or something similar inside to hold the shape until it dries.
