Patterned Bolga Basket - Large

These large round bolga baskets are perfect for any kind of adventure! Sturdy and strong, they are perfect for shopping, in the garden or storage around the home. Available with an ethical leather handle or a natural vegan handle.

Beautiful and durable, they are hand-woven from the elephant grass which grows in the rich flood plains of the White Volta near the village of Bolgatanga in Northern Ghana. Each weaver chooses the style they will make and no two patterned baskets are ever the same in colour, size or shape- you are purchasing something that is truly one of a kind!

Please note: we receive and ship our baskets flat packed, but they can easily be reshaped as many times as needed - view our care guide for more details. If you are local (Auckland based) and would like us to shape the basket for you please leave a message at checkout (note this will add up to 48 hours to your dispatch/collection time).

Also available in natural or as a mini style - perfect for children. 

Approximate Size: As these baskets are handmade, diameter and heights will vary. Medium baskets range from 28cm – 32cm x 18cm height (excluding handle); Large are 32cm+ and 19cm+ high (excluding handle)
